Craftsman Article December 2020

Brothers and Sisters this article will be short and sweet. I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I would like to thank the membership for representing the IBEW as you have done during these trying times. The year 2020 has been unprecedented in our lifetime with the challenges we have faced as a society. The members of IBEW Local 69 have remained resolute and vigilant in preserving organized labor, while big business continues the attack on working people in America. Your actions during this crisis has defined your character. There are always free agents in the market place however, I am proud to be a part of the IBEW and call you my brothers and sisters. You have proven time and again we are in this together and we will continue to do what is necessary to keep the middle class alive and relevant for our children. This holiday season take the time to tell someone you love them and remember the reason for the season.

Until next time may God bless you, your family, and IBEW Local 69.

Craftsman Article November 2020

Brothers and Sisters, I would like to wish all of our members and their families a happy and safe Thanksgiving Holiday. Many of us will have smaller gatherings this holiday season because of the pandemic. Please take all necessary precautions to keep you and your family safe through the holiday season. Congratulations to all Oncor employees for receiving an extra holiday this year for working through the pandemic. The Company decided to give all Oncor employees New Years Eve off this year as an extra holiday. The Union suggested to the Company they do something for employees that work in the elements and are exposed to the public during the pandemic. It was no surprise that Management was included in the extra day off for your hard work. Thank you for all you do! Again, have a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday and hug someone you love, you never know when it will be the last time you get to hug them.

Until next time may God bless you, your family, and IBEW Local 69.
